FasciaBlaster Review

Posted in Uncategorized on July 20, 2017 by livittodalimit
The Fasciablaster has changed the way my wife and I treat ourselves.
My wife is a dentist and has what we have coined dent-neck. Dentist spend 8 hours a day hunched over, arms up and using fine motor skills in their fingers. I tell her all the time she’s an athlete in so much that she makes money based on physical precision. Prior to getting the fasciablaster we purchased a massage table and I would give her my best attempt at massages regularly. My hands and arms would get tired after 2 min and my effectiveness would immediately decrease. She joked about my stamina in more ways than just one.
After purchasing the fasciablaster I can now work on her for over an hour without getting tired. The unique claws get in there like no other tool we have used before, and believe me when I say, I have tried them all. It has immensely helped me give her better in home care. She gets massages every other week but she needs treatment more regularly than that for her dent-neck and now I can provide exceptional care.
And that’s only part of the story. I also have the minis which are great for using on ourselves while sitting on the couch and watching tv. When my neck isn’t feeling best I use the mini 1 on my traps and it provides great relief, I can get in there and go hard. I use the mini 2 on my belly, arms or legs while sitting on the couch too. My wife also has restless legs syndrome and when it starts acting up, she uses the mini 2 around her knees and like clockwork, the sensation disappears.
All in Ashley’s tools have changed the way we treat each other and ourselves for the best. We are constantly trying to take more responsibility for our personal care and all of Ashley’s tools assist with that better than anything we have tried before. I strongly recommend her products especially if you are into taking responsibility for your own well being into your own hands. If you are on the fence, buy it and you can thank me later.

Khalili Center 5k Run

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , on March 17, 2014 by livittodalimit

Recently I participated in the 5k run for the Khalili Center prior to the Los Angeles Marathon and it was fantastic.

The Khalili Center for Bariatric Care specializes in all bariatric surgeries including Gastric Bypass, Gastric Sleeve and Lap-Band. The reason they are the best is 3 fold; The Facility; The Doctors and the multi disciplinary approach.

The Facility is  one of the most beautiful centers I have ever seen.

The Doctors are incredible. Dr. Khalili and Dr. Nishi are double board certified in both bariatric surgery and trauma. They still operate at Cedars Sinai occasionally. They have conducted over 5,000 surgeries. And can perform bariatric and general surgery. What ever your body needs to stay health. They also do single incision belly button robotic surgery using the Da Vinci Si Surgical System.

The Multi-disciplinary approach is crucial to the patients keeping the weight off. They make sure you not only lose the weight but you keep it off.

Annie Duke: Decision Making – Art or Science?

Posted in Uncategorized on September 26, 2013 by arielcampos2013

Recently Annie Duke posted a new video on her YouTube page entitled “Decision Making – Art or Science?” In the video the celebrated World Series of Poker bracelet winner ponders the question of whether decision-making is an art or a science.

“Is decision making an art or a science? I think it’s definitely a combination of both,” explains Annie Duke.

Before embarking on a career as a professional poker player, Annie Duke studied cognitive psychology and was in fact pursuing an M.A. degree before she became a poker pro. However it seems that her educational background in cognitive psych has informed the way she makes decisions, both at the card table and elsewhere.

“When you try to mathematically model these things or do experiments that are controlled studies, you’re reducing things down to their component parts, you can only model these behaviors so well.”

“I don’t want to think very hard about whether I’m gonna run away from a lion. I’m gonna run away from a lion,” says Annie Duke. “The problem is that there’s other cases where when that system takes over that’s really good for lion running away, it’s not particularly good for other things. There’s kind of an art to understanding what are the irrationals in the system.”

One of the most well-known celebrity poker players, Annie Duke is also an author and a high profile speaker. Recently she has stepped back from playing poker professionally and is concentrating more on her career as a speaker.

She’s also still highly active in the charity world where among other things, she along with actor Don Cheadle, is a co-founder of the Ante Up for Africa charity poker tournament. Miss Annie Duke has also increasingly turned her attention to applying the lessons she’s learned in poker to other aspects of life, society, and politics.

She’s cultivated a unique, insightful viewpoint, that’s informed by what she refers to as “decision science.” On her YouTube page and on her blog at annieduke.com, she uses decision science to offer valuable insights into current events and contemporary issues. Annie Duke: The Value of Our Ideas

Posted in Uncategorized on September 25, 2013 by arielcampos2013

In a recent video blog posted on her YouTube page, celebrity poker player Annie Duke offered her opinions on the “The Value of Our Ideas.” Miss Duke, who is well known as a World Series of Poker bracelet-winning poker champion, often translates lessons learned at the card table into valuable personal and professional insights. She then communicates these insights via blog posts, videos, or through her high profile public speaking engagements (Annie Duke is a much in-demand motivational and business speaker).

In “The Value of Our Ideas” Duke discusses the way in which our own ideas get endowed to us, much in the same way that objects get endowed to us.

“If you own something and I ask what you would sell it for,” says Annie Duke in the video. “That would be much higher than what somebody will buy it for. Because you own it, it’s now been endowed with extra value beyond what the value of the item is, and that’s true of ideas too.”

“We really fall in love with our own ideas,” adds the former Celebrity Apprentice runner-up. “So when you combine all of these things, endowment and anchoring along with sort of how we view in a winning state that’s skill, you can get into really big trouble.”

Lately Annie Duke, who has taken a step back from competitive poker playing, has been applying her own “decision science” to all kinds of personal and political situations. Duke’s unique insights, gained from a lifetime of playing poker for a living, have a surprising relevance to many political and societal situations.

Recently in her blog at annieduke.com, she offered her own commentary on the Syrian situation. In the post, which was titled “Syria: The Problem with Ultimatums,” Duke explained how President Obama’s “red-line” warning to Syria over chemical weapons has now backed him into a corner.

“This is the problem with issuing ultimatums,” explains Annie Duke. “Once the ultimatum is challenged, you only have two options: follow through or lose credibility.”

“We can think about ultimatums like bets in a poker game. When choosing what the best bet is, a player has to think about not just what is going to make them the most money in the moment but also what will make them the most money in the future.”

Annie Duke Lends Support to After-School All-Stars Blinds and Bluffs Fundraiser

Annie Duke is best known as the professional poker player who won a bracelet at the World Series of Poker and later appeared on Celebrity Apprentice in 2009. Recently, Annie Duke was back at the card table, taking part in a for-charity poker game held at the home of former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Billed as the “After-School All-Stars Evening of Blinds and Bluffs,” the event succeeded in raising $450,000 for After-School All-Stars, a charitable organization whose mission is to help children succeed in school and in life.

After-School All-Stars is just the latest in a long list of charitable foundations to which Annie Duke has lent her celebrity and poker-playing prowess. Although Annie Duke is best known for being one of the most successful female poker players the game has ever known, she is also well-known for her involvement in charitable organizations.

Annie Duke’s celebrity was perhaps at its height when she was a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice. During her time on that show, she raised more than any other contestant that season for her charity, Refugees International. Annie even outraised comedienne Joan Rivers, who was the show’s eventual winner that season.

Apart from the millions of children who will benefit from the proceeds raised at the After-School All-Stars event, the other big winner was actor Joe Manganiello, who took home the grand prize that night after defeating Annie Duke herself. Joe received a gorgeous Richard Mille RM 011 Felipe Massa flyback chronograph, a Magnum of Moraga Vineyards 2009 wine, and a pair of custom-made shoes from Barker Black.

The Blinds and Bluffs event was held at the stunning home of Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actor and former California governor is one of the many celebrities Annie Duke’s charitable works have led her to work with over the years. In collaboration with actor Don Cheadle, Annie co-founded the Ante Up for Africa foundation, which hosts an annual poker tournament benefiting underdeveloped African nations.

So I’m not a big fan of going to the dentist… Until now. Dentist Dana Ghorab DDS in San Clemente is the most clean, high tech, effective, kid friendly & family dentist in the area. Her beautiful smile always radiates positivity. And I always leave with a bigger more beautiful smile.  Dana treats all of her clients like they are the most important patient. Finding a San Clemente Dentist like Dana is a blessing and if only I had been coming here sooner.
